Yongbo Qian

In the summer of 2010, a young teenager who graduated from a High School in Nanjing, China, started his brand-new journey at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Now, about to graduate with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science, he is so surprised and satisfied with the leadership growth and improvement he accomplished through his amazing experiences in these four years.

Through his involvements in the Illinois Leadership Center, he has learnt plenty of practical leadership knowledge and skills as well as how to apply those skills in the real world cases, which benefitted his four-year of college experience and beyond. The improvements of self-awareness, networking skills and teamwork capabilities are the most valuable takeaways from this program.

 

Upon graduation, he plans to pursue the Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering and have a positive impact in future technological and entrepreneurial upon.
